A circuit-bent phase-locked loop — a sound box, not a piano. Leave DRONE on and drag on the scope: left/right = pitch, up/down = chaos. GLITCH bitcrushes & scrambles it; TONE re-homes the VCO on a sub/over-harmonic; PULSE hard-chops the output rhythmically; SCRAMBLE jumps the pitch to random steps (malfunctioning-computer bleeps); RING modulates it into metallic/alien clang; DRIVE adds bite. FILTER, ECHO & REVERB sweeten the output. LOOP is a Steve Reich phase looper: tap to sample a tape, tap again to close it — two copies play back with one creeping ahead (It's Gonna Rain style). PHASE sets the drift speed (0 = hold the canon); the LOOP knob mixes tape vs live. Keyboard & MIDI are optional pitch inputs.
